Clearly Windows LLC: Rebuilding a Broken Webflow Website From the Ground Up
By Arianna Zimmerman

Clearly Windows LLC originally began looking for someone with Webflow experience after running into ongoing problems with its existing website.
The website had been built in 2022 and had become outdated, inconsistent, and difficult to manage. Someone had previously attempted to repair the forms, but the changes created additional problems and the forms still did not function correctly.
What started as a Webflow repair project quickly became a complete website transformation.
Rather than continuing to patch a website with deeper structural issues, I rebuilt it from the ground up.
The Problems With the Original Website
The original site had several issues affecting both the customer experience and the business behind the scenes.
The contact and application forms did not work properly.
The design was not consistent from one page to another.
The website was not properly optimized for mobile devices.
Uploaded images and files were disorganized, oversized, and given unclear names.
Webflow classes and page elements were difficult to identify and maintain.
The service pages lacked a clear structure.
There was little to no proper search engine optimization.
The site no longer reflected the quality or professionalism of the company.
These were not isolated visual problems. They affected usability, performance, lead generation, search visibility, and the ability to maintain the website in the future.
Rebuilding the Website in Webflow
Instead of making temporary fixes, I created a new structure and rebuilt the website directly inside Webflow.
The goal was to create a consistent digital experience across every page while also making the backend cleaner and easier to manage.
I redesigned and rebuilt the homepage, service pages, individual service pages, about page, careers page, gallery, and quote experience.
Each section was designed to feel connected to the same brand rather than appearing as a collection of unrelated pages.
Typography, spacing, colors, buttons, cards, calls to action, and imagery were unified across the entire site.
Repairing and Rebuilding the Forms
The forms were one of the most important parts of the project.
A service business website cannot generate leads when customers are unable to submit an inquiry.
The existing forms had previously been edited, but they still did not function correctly. I rebuilt and tested the contact, quote, and employment application forms so visitors could successfully send information to the company.
The forms were also redesigned for clarity and mobile usability.
Fields were properly labeled, selections were organized, success and error states were styled, and the layouts were adjusted for smaller screens.
The result was not simply a form that looked better. It was a form system that actually worked.
Organizing the Webflow Backend
A professional website should also be organized behind the scenes.
I cleaned up the Webflow structure and gave sections, classes, elements, images, and files clear and descriptive names.
Instead of leaving behind generic names or confusing duplicate classes, I created a system that would be easier to understand and maintain.
I also organized the uploaded assets, renamed files appropriately, compressed large images, and removed unnecessary clutter.
This improved both the website’s performance and the long-term maintainability of the project.
A client should not need to rebuild a website simply because the backend becomes impossible to navigate.
Mobile Optimization
The original website was not delivering a consistent experience across different screen sizes.
I optimized the rebuilt site for desktop, tablet, mobile landscape, and standard mobile devices.
Navigation, spacing, text sizes, service cards, forms, buttons, images, and interactive sections were reviewed individually at each breakpoint.
Mobile optimization was treated as part of the build, not as an adjustment added at the end.
The finished website allows customers to explore services, read about the company, and submit a quote request from any device without fighting the layout.
SEO and Search Visibility
The previous website had little meaningful SEO structure.
I updated page titles, meta descriptions, heading hierarchy, image naming, page organization, indexing settings, and the overall content structure.
Each service was given a dedicated and clearly organized page, helping both customers and search engines understand what the company offers.
I also prepared the site for proper indexing so it could begin building greater visibility in search results.
SEO is most effective when it is built into the foundation of a website rather than added as an afterthought.
Adding Custom Interactions and Visual Details
The redesign included more than static page layouts.
I added reveal effects, hover interactions, transitions, sliders, visual overlays, and branded design details throughout the website.
These features helped make the site feel modern and polished without distracting visitors from the company’s services.
Every interaction had a purpose, whether it was guiding attention, improving navigation, presenting project photos, or encouraging visitors to request a quote.
Going Beyond the Original Request
The project began because Clearly Windows LLC needed someone who understood Webflow and could help resolve problems with the existing site.
I went beyond repairing one broken feature.
I rebuilt the website, reorganized the backend, repaired the forms, compressed and renamed assets, improved mobile responsiveness, added SEO structure, unified the visual design, and created a website that better supports the company’s growth.
The finished result is a modern, organized, responsive, and functional Webflow website that is easier for customers to use and easier for the business to maintain.
