Overview
Cates Moving originally had a simple one-page website. While it gave the business a basic online presence, it did not reflect the quality of the company itself or support real growth in the way a stronger digital system could.
This project became much more than a visual redesign. It turned into a broader effort to help the business present itself more professionally, improve visibility, streamline communication, and create a better customer experience from the first visit to the final inquiry.

The original one-page website was rebuilt into a premium multi-page Next.js website with stronger structure, better flow, and more room for growth.

- Cleaner design throughout
SEO & Local Visibility
A major part of the rebuild focused on search visibility.
I expanded the site with location-based pages and a cleaner page hierarchy so search engines could index the website more effectively. Instead of a single static page, the site became a deeper digital presence with more opportunities to rank and reach surrounding areas.
AI Assistant Tool
I also built and integrated an AI assistant into the website to help answer questions, support users, and reduce friction in the inquiry process.
This added another layer of usability while making the site feel more modern and more helpful to potential customers.
Email Support & Communication
Beyond the website itself, I also helped support business communication by assisting with email workflows and improving how inquiries were handled.
